Chapter Eleven
Who the hell is Taleshia Jones?
“Are you serious Keyshia?” Phonix asked mouth agape.
“Dead serious!” Keyshia replied. “I’m telling you girl! I started talking about not being in love with her man and money instead. Phonix girl, Taleshia just broke down and told me the story about her husband, what happened to her child and the reason she won’t leave him. So I waited until I got home and googled her name and girl she wasn’t lying about any of it! I was floored! Hell, I’m still stuck on stupid!”
“Well what did she say girl?” Phonix asked. “I mean, start over from the top and drop the bomb on me!”
“Okay! She started by saying that her father used to make her suck his dick every single night that he came home from work.”
“Whhhaattt!” Phonix screamed. “Get. The. Fuck. Outta here!”
“Yeeessss! Then she said that she began to enjoy doing it after so long. She said that it just seemed so normal. Her mother was a stone sold crack head and knew what was going on, but didn’t care. She said her mom used to say she gotta learn one day. So when she turned eleven…”
“Hold up, Keyshia! Hold up! When she turned eleven! You mean to tell me she was getting done like this at nine and ten years old?”
“Try six and seven bitch!” Keyshia snapped.
“Stop it!” Phonix couldn’t believe it.
“So when she turned eleven, her mom started selling her to the local dope boys. She charged them a ten dollar hit for oral sex from eleven-year-old Taleshia. She even went on to tell me that it was times dope boys paid her mom to eat her own daughter’s pussy in front of everyone.”
“And she did it?” Phonix stupidly asked.
“That’s what she said,” Keyshia replied.
Phonix was hurt and destroyed to hear that something like this had happened to a child. No child is entitled to this type of life and hearing all this just crushed her heart.
“I’m not done!” Keyshia continued. “At twelve she got pregnant by a young dope boy who at eighteen should’ve been sleeping with grown women instead of a child! But anyway, when her mom found out she was pregnant by this eighteen-year-old, she tried to extort the young guy by threatening to report him to the police. So the young dope boy kidnapped Taleshia, took her to a secluded spot, and jammed hangers up in her pussy and killed the unborn child. He destroyed her whole insides to the point of where having children again is out of the question.”
Silence filled the line. Phonix muffled her sobs. She just couldn’t believe it.
“And that wasn’t it either!”
“Huh?” Phonix questioned. “What could be more of an ending than that?”
“The damn girl let the eighteen-year-old talk her into reporting her parents to the police and telling the authorities that she killed the embryo in her stomach because her father had impregnated her.”
“My God!” Phonix whispered.
“She was charged with self-mutilation causing serious bodily harm. She was held as a juvenile until she turned eighteen.
